We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant, care assistant, or on your way to becoming one! We also welcome those who are curious about working in caring/supportive professions, and we prefer that you have experience from other jobs where you are used to working with service and meeting people with a respectful approach. We also seek those who are entering the workforce for the first time and have a strong interest in a job where you make a difference for others every shift.

Description of the Workplace

Home Care

The work mainly involves creating trust and security for individuals in need of support and assistance in their own homes. In home care, you work with personal care interventions, documentation, and follow-up. Some practical service tasks occur, such as cleaning and shopping. You primarily travel by car and sometimes on foot or by bike between clients.

Nursing Home

You assist residents with daily tasks, personal care interventions, and contribute to ensuring that residents feel secure and find meaning in their daily lives. For some clients, it is especially important to have staff who can spread calmness and help people with anxiety find peace through their approach. It is also important to be creative in finding meaningful individual activities with the residents.

Disability Care

You have an educational role in a group home/service residence where you provide support and care to help the client's abilities and independence grow and persist. We work with individuals who may have various disabilities, whether physical, mental, or intellectual. You support and motivate clients with daily activities to enable their independence. Personal care interventions, documentation, and providing security are also important tasks.

Personal Assistant

You work to support another person in their daily life on their terms in their home. Individuals with extensive disabilities can continue to live independently with your help. Assistance can involve both daily tasks and leisure interests. You perform personal care and may have tasks such as administering medication. The client's wishes regarding how and when approved interventions should be carried out are an important part based on the legislation governing personal assistance.

Your Competence

You need to have a pleasant demeanor and a professional manner towards clients, colleagues, and relatives. We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant or care assistant, and it is an advantage if you have work experience in care and support, but it is not a requirement. We document and take part in the client's interventions in digital systems, so we expect you to be accustomed to documenting and comfortable doing it digitally. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both written and spoken, to communicate with clients and understand instructions as well as document interventions. You must be at least 18 years old when the temporary position begins. A driver's license is required for certain workplaces. As a person, you need to have good collaboration skills and be willing to share your knowledge and experiences while being open to learning from others. All meetings with clients should be characterized by engagement, trust, and confidence.
